IRIS Learning Network (ILN)
The IRIS Learning Network is a division of IRIS Health Solutions that provides Health Information Technology (HIT) standards and technology training for executives. IRIS’ HIT subject matter experts lead the courses along with a senior HIT analyst in small in-person groups to explore current HIT trends, helping to keep executives ahead of the technology learning curve. Education sessions are broken up into four 59-minute segments that can be taken one at a time or all in one day. Each session is taught in groups of up to 6 at our state-of-the-art training facility in Old Town Alexandria. Through ACT-IAC, IRIS Learning Network training courses for executives will be made available to larger in-person groups and via webinar at their training facility in Northern Virginia.
Small class sizes provide individualized attention and offer the opportunity for better awareness, discovery and conversation. The IRIS Learning Network courses are built by instructional designers with content developed by SMEs with 20+ years of experience that bring real world perspectives to key advances in HIT standards and technology. Current courses offered are Fast Health Interoperability Resources (FHIR), National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) for Executives and Laws, Regulations and Policies (LRPs).
Each executive course provides continuing education units and a certificate of completion for students.
